除要修學分者，健管所博士班健促組學生在未通過proposal口試前皆應參加此課程。課程每週一次，每人應至少報告與評論一次。報告內容應為：
1.必修學分者
第一學期：研究興趣或構想
第二學期：獨立研究構想或研究proposal
2.其他尚未通過proposal者
博一：碩士論文或文獻探討
其他：研究結果或論文proposal

All doctoral students majoring in health promotion are required to take this course before their dissertation proposals are approved in oral defense. Students who receive credits from this class can make presentations according to their interest or research ideas in the first semester; in the second semester they are expected to present their independent studies or research proposals; first year Ph.d students should attend this class as auditors and they may share master’s thesis or do literature review as presentations; other auditors can present research findings or dissertation proposal.
